We are a fourth generation family-owned butcher shop. Our great grandparents, Steve and Hermine, opened the first location of House of Home Made Sausage on 25th and Center from 1939 until 1951. From 1951 until 1990 our great grandparents, along with our grandparents, Roman and Minnie, opened up the second location on 35th and Villard. Our parents, Steve and Terri, opened up the third location in 1979 in Germantown.

We still operate at that same location today. While the outside of the business may have changed, the quality of our product has not. We are well known for a variety of items including summer sausage, pepper sticks, ten varieties of brats, and the list goes on. Everything we offer is always fresh and never frozen. The three of us have continued to run our family business since 2000.

Because there are not many butcher shops like us open anymore, we appreciate our loyal customer clientele. Still to this day, we have many customers that use to shop at our Villard Avenue store. We would like to invite you to House of Home Made Sausage to try our products. We guarantee you will not be disappointed!
